Asiaticoside is found from Centella Asiatica,
which contains about 12% of polyphenol.
Among them, Asiaticoside of a triterpene type is a special component of Centella Asiatica. Functionally, it showed a recovery effect on retinal pigment epithelial cells against oxidized A2E and on increasing glucose in retinal pigment epithelial cells.
